Meet The Team
Karen Stead
Karen trained in dance with Mary Hunter School of Dance & Marron Stage School from a young age in which she performed in various professional productions & pantomimes such as CINDERELLA with Ronnie Corbert and the touring West End production of JOSEPH. Karen then went on to work professionally as a dancer/choreographer taking her all across the globe to places such as Karatchi Pakistan, Portugal, Jersey & Gurnsey and now still travels the uk with her own touring production company both singing and dancing. Karen is a qualified teacher and full member with NCDTA & IDTA (in all theatre subjects), quallified cheerleading coach with BCA and is also a trained fitness instructer.
Andrew Stead
Andrew has been performing from a young age training in latin and ballroom to competition level with British champion Shaun Sargent. Andrew has worked all over the world on board some of the worlds finest cruise ships as a dancer and vocalist touring the Caribbean, Africa, the Mediterranean, the Greek islands, Italy and many more and still currently tours major venues throughout the U.K. Andrew is a qualified teacher and full member with the IDTA and has qualifications with The London School Of Music. Andrew has a First Class Honours Degree in DRAMA from the University of Sunderland, as well as First and National Diploma's in Performing Arts.
Lisa Hind
Lisa is a trained and qualified Modern Jazz teacher here at A&K . Lisa is a well established professional performer and has toured the UK and Germany in many productions. Lisa has teaching qualifications with the IDTA Lisa is exicited to part of the WPA team and looks foward to our future productions.
Callum Lashley
Callum is our assistant Musical Theatre teacher.
Callum is a qaulified Musical Theatre teacher with IDTA and has a wealth of experience of stage performance. He is also a great member of our team.
